Construction Coordinator
Welcome to the entry-level position in the store construction department. As a Construction Coordinator I, you will assist the construction team with entry-level project management duties and/or entry-level construction administration projects.
What you have the opportunity to do
- Assist in the preparation of contracts for consultants and contractors
- Participate in the bidding, negotiation and award process for assigned projects
- Establish and maintain the Budget Tracking Report
- Track and monitor all field instructions and change orders
- Monitor project phasing schedules and implement recovery strategies to minimize delays
- Monitor daily construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with scheduling
- Track contractors' timely response to RFIs, change orders and schedule adjustments
- Coordinate and monitor commitments of all pre-purchased materials and equipment
- Four-year, undergraduate degree in Construction Management or related field
- Co-op or intern experience in a construction or general contracting environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel
